A Year of Togetherness at Rangoli Gardens
At Rangoli Gardens, festivals are more than dates on a calendar — they are occasions that bring us together as one community.
From the cheerful excitement of children’s winter vacations, when Christmas and New Year fill Rangoli with joy, to the warmth of Lohri and the colourful arrival of Makar Sankranti, the year begins with celebration, friendship and togetherness.
26th January — Republic Day is a particularly special occasion at Rangoli. The sight of our senior citizens and defence veterans proudly joining the flag unfurling is a moment of pride and awe for our children. The tricolour, patriotic songs, cultural performances by our men, women and children, and the national fervour in the air remind us of the values and sacrifices that bind us together as a nation.
Then comes the season of colour and spring — Basant Panchami, Phaag Utsav, Holi and Dhulandi — followed by the devotion of Maha Shivratri, the traditions of Gangaur, and the many occasions through which we share our diverse cultural heritage.
As the year unfolds, Rangoli celebrates Ram Navami — the birth of Lord Ram, Hanuman Jayanti, Guru Purnima, Raksha Bandhan, Hariyali Teej, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi and Hartalika Teej. Our celebrations bring together generations — children discovering traditions, youngsters adding their energy, and elders sharing the memories and wisdom that give every festival its meaning.
The festive spirit rises again with Sharad Navratri and Dussehra (Vijayadashami), followed by Karwa Chauth and, finally, the grand five-day festive season of Dhanteras, Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
Diwali at Rangoli is truly a sight to behold. Homes are cleaned and beautifully decorated, balconies and entrances glow with warm twinkling lights, and the entire Rangoli shines like a jewel. Relatives and friends either go to the walled city to see the lighting or come to Rangoli Gardens. Strings of lights, puja, mithai exchanges, fireworks, families meeting relatives, old friends reconnecting and new friendships being made.
And so the cycle continues — one festival leading to another, one celebration bringing one family closer to another.
This is what makes Rangoli Gardens more than a residential complex. It is a community that celebrates together, grows together and creates memories together.
